Asbestos Abatement

Bill Walker, the founder of WSC, Inc. is widely known as one of the pioneers of the asbestos abatement industry in the Puget Sound Region. Along with the remainder of our staff, we have accomplished some of the largest, most complex asbestos abatement and retrofit construction projects undertaken in the Western United States, Alaska and Hawaii. Projects directed or performed by Walker personnel include complete abatement and retrofit of the Hawaii State Capitol Building, the Juneau Federal Building, and the Sioux Falls South Dakota US West regional headquarters building as well as hundreds of smaller abatement projects.
WSC, Inc. personnel have extensive experience performing all types of asbestos abatement projects, including pipe and boiler insulation, floor covering, fireproofing and sprayed acoustical materials.

Mold Abatement

Mold abatement is a recent industry in which WSC personnel have been involved from the beginning, accomplishing numerous abatement projects from small houses to very large commercial and industrial facilities.

Urethane Foam Systems

WSC, Inc. personnel are among the most experienced in the field of urethane foam application, including placement of spray, pour and froth foam systems. Typical applications include roof systems, tanks, cold storage facilities, fishing vessel installations, preinsulated piping systems or any other area where a specialized urethane application is required

Fluid Applied Spray Coatings

WSC, Inc. personnel are highly experienced in the field of fluid applied spray coatings, including urethanes, elastomeric coatings, vapor barriers, 100% solids spray coatings and other applications where the mechanic must be highly trained in order to guarantee proper placement of the materials.

Structural Steel Fireproofing

 

Select WSC, Inc. personnel have been involved with structural steel fireproofing for well over twenty years.  Many of the projects in which WSC personnel have been involved include many high rise office buildings in downtown Seattle and Bellevue in addition to many of the high technology company office parks and University of Washington facilities.
